Department members awarded at Classical Association of Canada (CAC) conference

The Classical Association of Canada (CAC) held their annual conference this past weekend and two members of our department were honoured with awards. We are excited to announce that Dr. Michele George was the winner of the Award of Merit for outstanding services to the discipline of Classics. Cassandra Tran, a PhD Student in our department, was the winner of the 2022 CAC/SCEC graduate student presentation prize for her paper, “Sensual Tension: Olfactory Costuming in Plautus’ Casina.”
The conference took place from May 12th to 15th, 2022, at The University of Western Ontario in London, ON.
